The last of our angel appearances at Advent came on the night Jesus was born.  The angel did not appear to Mary and Joseph or the Inn keepers with a word of encouragement or guidance.  Instead, God sent His message to lowly shepherds out in the fields around Bethlehem. They knew Joy like never before as they took the encounter to all who would listen.
