Our Worship Music.

The word "worship" actually means "worth-ship"...to give God alone the glory He deserves. He has made His presence known in creation all around us. When we gather together corporately, we lavish the deserved love upon Him with hearts and minds committed to seeing His Name lifted up.
When you walk through the door at WellSpring you will notice the music in the background. The beat may be catchy, but the message stays the same: "Not to us, but to Your Name be the glory--because of Your love and faithfulness." (Psalm 115:1) It is SO NOT ABOUT US---not about a music style, or a worship leader, or a group of singers or musicians---or even a congregation. We want God to feel at home in our midst, pleased by our devotion to Him, and rest His presence upon our gathering.
On any given Sunday you might hear Charlie Hall or Chris Tomlin, Passion, or favorites currently receiving Christian broadcast time. We gear up, we slow down. You might hear a new twist on a precious hymn…but more importantly, we make authentic worship our top priority! Our team seeks to honor Christ in playing and singing for His pleasure while inviting all who enter our building to do the same. Our worship time sets the stage for God's word spoken through drama and the morning message, in which we get up close and personal with learning to love God with all of our MIND, as well as our HEART, SOUL, AND STRENGTH!
Sometimes, we like to do things just a little bit...unpredictable! Our Christmas Eve Eve family service had a smidgen of bluegrass feel to it...for you never know what you'll find when you enter WellSpring!
If God is always up to a fresh, new work, how can we do anything but follow in imitation?
“Sing unto the Lord a new song; sing unto the Lord, all the earth!” Psalms 96:1
“True worshippers are…”
unquenchable “Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.” (Habakkuk 3:17-18)
undone “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips, for I have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.” Isaiah 6: 4-5
undignified “I will celebrate before the Lord. I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes.” 2 Samuel 6: 21-22
unpredictable “Forget the former things of the past; do not dwell upon them. See, I am doing a new thing; now it springs up, do you not perceive it?” Isaiah 43: 18-19
unveiled “And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, Who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
unstoppable “Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the Gospel…” Ephesians 6:19
unnoticed “To draw attention to ourselves in moments meant for holy beholding is a pretty unbiblical approach. In fact, it’s probably even a dangerous one. Praise is a contradiction of pride. Pride says “look at me”, but praise longs for people to see Jesus. There’s no room for showing off in the holy throne room…The reality is that in the throne room of almighty God, everyone’s bowing as low as they can.”
undivided “Teach me Your way, O Lord, and I will walk in Your truth. Give me an undivided heart that I might fear Your Name.” Psalm 86: 11
unsatisfied “If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world.” C.S. Lewis
unending “Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.” Ephesians 6:24
